The Argus Appeal Brighton to Paris Cycle Challenge 2010: July 28th- August 1st 2010
Relax in the sunshine as you meander down country lanes and cycle paths en route to the romantic city of Paris. This charity cycle ride surely has to be an adventure of a lifetime sampling the delights of France via bicycle, covering 140 miles over three days, including four nights accommodation in two and 3 star hotels.
After an evening exploring Dieppe, the adventure begins via the 'cycle friendly' Avenue Verte and onto our overnight stop in Gournay-en-Bray. The second day is another 50 mile ride, via small French villages onto our third hotel in the majestic town of Chantilly and finally (day three) we enter Paris 'traffic free' via the Canal de la Ourq en route to our hotel in Paris.
After an evening in Paris, we return in style via Eurostar, arriving back in the UK early Sunday evening.
The registration fee is *£300. *A minimum sponsorship of £500 applies. Contact  brightontoparis@theargus.co.uk or www.theargus.co.uk/argusappeal/latestappealnews/_ for more details.
About the Argus Appeal: The Argus Appeal is the charity of the Argus newspaper and in 2010 we are celebrating 52 years of giving to those in need in our community of Sussex. It is working in the heart of our community that enables us to see first hand who is in need.
We pride ourselves on having supporters who trust the integrity of our work, the honesty with which we tell our stories and the decisions we make when allocating funds.
Our objectives are: To give assistance to those in need throughout our community by providing funds for a variety of benefits and causes, in particular disadvantaged children, the elderly, the vulnerable, people  with disabilities and any other person group or charity considered by the trustees to be appropriate for a fund allocation which will make a difference.
