Vancouver fails to make list of top cycling cities Minneapolis has been named the best city in the U.S. for cycling by Bicycling magazine, followed by Portland, Boulder, Seattle and Eugene.
Top five foreign cities for cycling were also listed, four of which were in Europe. The top five in order were Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Bogata, Barcelona, and Berlin. No Canadian city made this list. Meanwhile, Vision Vancouver councillor Geoff Meggs has that the engineering department will be looking at new ways to separate cars from cyclists in the city.
