Rainbow Trust Country Bike Ride and Family Fun Day

What’s it all about?

Three exciting bike rides will start and finish at Cobham Rugby Club, passing through Bookham, West Horsley, Shere, Abinger Hammer, Peaslake and into the Surrey Hills and Surrey Weald. There will also be a Family Fun Day at Cobham Rugby Club for friends and family of those taking part as well as the general public.

Country Bike Ride

10 miles; Mountain bikes - Mainly off-road crossing the Mole Valley and Great Bookham Common. A fun ride for all the family.

17 miles; Mountain bikes - New route for mountain bike and dirt trail enthusiasts.

45 miles; Road bikes - All on tarmac roads. A very challenging route with several hilly sections.

Prizes for the highest fundraisers will include a cycling trip to Tuscany or Paris and a bike worth £500!

This year we have teamed up with Surrey Cricket Club and expect to see over 400 riders enjoying the Surrey countryside and supporting Rainbow Trust.


How will Rainbow Trust support me?

We will send you:

  • Maps and information about the ride
  • Fundraising support with tips and ideas on how to reach your target
  • Training plans on request to help you get into shape for the big day
  • Details of our post race hospitality area where a licensed bar, food, changing facilities and entertainment will be available as well as the chance to win a cycling trip in Tuscany, Paris or a bike!

Family Fun Day

Alongside the Country Bike Ride, we are running a Family Fun Day which is open to everyone. Why not bring the whole family along and help us raise money to support families who desperately need our services.

Attractions will include:

  • Bouncy Castle
  • Home made cake stall
  • Art and Craft activities
  • Raffle
  • Games
  • Music
  • Entertainment
  • Face painting
  • Food and drink stalls

Bring your friends and family along for what promises to be a fantastic day out for the whole family.

Entry to the Fun Day is FREE and will be open from 10am – 4pm
