Cycle News Monday, February 07, 2005Trail GradingTrail GradingCycling Scotland, Education Officer, Jim Riach organised and facilitated a Trail Grading Workshop on behalf of Forestry Commission. The workshop was held at Glentress Forest, Peebles on the 2nd February. The workshop was attended by representatives from SportScotland, VisitScotland, Scottish Natural Heritage, Paths for All, the Scottish Mountain Bike Leaders Association, the International Mountain Bike Association (UK) as well as representatives from the Forest Districts within the English, Welsh and Scottish Forestry Regions. Earl Haig Fund Scotland Cycle Trip - 29 April – 2 May 2005 If you want to get fit, have some fun and raise money for charity then sign up for the Earl Haig Fund Scotland’s sponsored cycle trip. The 213-mile journey on National Cycle Route 7 from Inverness to Glasgow will take place over four days, from Friday 29th April to Monday 2nd May.
